Comedy is at its best when it makes you cringe. Can you laugh about anything? The answer is yes, abso-fucking-lutely, Ricky Gervais said it all depends on the joke, Jimmy Carr said it depends on the audience, I say it depends on the storytelling skills on the comedian. Here is a small selection of some of my favourite bits. by my favourite artists. Unless you lived under a rock, you've probabbly already seen them, if not well... You're welcome!
Ricky Gervais

A true artist who knows phenomenal success and yet considered by most quite controversial. Host of the Golden Globes on many occasions, his jabs at the Hollywood elite made many cringe. Author, actor and director of the comedy/drama show "After Life" his uncanny talent at depicting life is simply unparalleled. Here's the bit that made me discover his existence, you could spend days on YouTube alone watching small bits, full shows and interviews all as funny as the next one.
Bill Burr

Boston native, sports fan, Bill is a world class comedian, actor and podcaster. He started from the bottom and rised to the top through his detremination, relentlessness and talent. He plays the obnoxious, arrogant, rambling bully on stage but is known for his heart and dedication to the craft. Co-founder of the "All Things Comedy" network, he also created the animated sitcom "F is for Family." Here is one of my favourite bits from this legend.
Jim Jeffries

Another hero of mine, multifaceted artist, actor, director, TV host, Jim's storytelling is out of this world, Talking us through his past addictions, depression, fatherhood and autism in a way that can't not make you laugh. He appears third on this list but this is not a ranking, I've seen him twice on stage and cannot recommend enough to do the same if you ever get the chance. Here's one of my favourite bits.
George Carlin

The allfather of comedy, may he rest in peace. Carlin had that cynical yet true view on society, pointing out our obvious stupidity as a species in the most dynamic and rythmic flow of words. Listening to him ramble about on stage is like listening to a symphony, his words ringing true like hammers to your soul. Many were inspired into doing comedy because of him, I am truly saddened I never got a chance to see him on stage. Enjoy this bit and consider procrastinating a few hours on YouTube after it.
Louis C.K.

I could not make a list of my favourite comedians without mentionning Louis. Despite the controversies and allegations against him, his storytelling skill is simply unparalleled. Actor, director, producer, there are so many bits that made me cry of laughter picking one was incredibly difficult, I went with this one and hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
Daniel Sloss

Daniel's material made over 45000 couples break up and has a count of at least 110 divorces. His talent resides into making you laugh while questionning your own feelings. I've seen him on stage only once but I'm definitely planning to see him again during his next tour. His specials "Dark" and "Jigsaw" are both available on Netflix. Here's a small taste of his talent.
